Andrew, known affectionately to TriLAB staff as “The Clam”, began incorporating regular strength training in his training regimen in October 2010. His swim coach, Nancy Kirkpatrick-Reno of Conejo Valley Multisport Masters, recommended he seek the guidance of strength & conditioning coach Ryan Capretta, the director of Proactive SP. Below, you can see Andrew in action, at one of his regular workouts.
